India is witnessing a sporty spectacle with its first-ever international padel tournament, the CUPRA FIP Tour, featuring the FIP Promotion India Padel Open.

Hosted at Bennett University (BU) in Greater Noida, the event began on November 21 and will run live matches until November 24.
Padel—a fast-growing racquet sport blending tennis and squash—makes its India debut at BU's cutting-edge facilities. Known for its enclosed courts and fast-paced doubles format, padel offers a social, strategy-driven alternative to tennis. To host this global event, BU constructed two padel courts, bolstering its reputation as a pioneer in emerging sports. This effort complements the university's earlier launch of 10 pickleball courts, cementing its leadership in unconventional athletics.
