19-yr-old raped, brother assaulted near rly stn

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a 29-year-old man near KR Puram railway station in Bengaluru on Thursday as an accomplice of the main accused restrained the woman's brother, officials said.
The attack took place at around 1.30 am on Thursday, when the woman's 20-year-old brother reached the bus stop after she returned from Ernakulam. The two were walking towards her relatives' home when the accused accosted them, officials said.
While Parvez Mushru, 24, restrained and gagged the 20-year-old, the main accused, Asif Khan, 29, dragged the woman to an isolated spot where he raped her, the officials said.
