Azad Highlights Atrocities Against Dalits, Demands Immediate Action

In a charged address to thousands of supporters, Bhim Army Bharat Ekta Mission founder and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) national president Chandrashekhar Azad vowed to bring sweeping political change in Uttar Pradesh by 2027.

Speaking at the "Save the Constitution Conference" and a workers' meet held near the Junior High School in Mawana, Meerut, the Nagina MP said the time had come to end "15 years of drought" in the state.

"Seeing this sea of people, I promise to repay the debt I owe to society—even with the last drop of my blood," Azad declared.

Calling Meerut "the land of revolution," Azad said it was a conscious decision to kickstart his movement for political and social transformation from this historic city. He asserted that change would begin from those very places where the dignity of Dalit communities was routinely violated.

"Where our wedding processions are stopped, our revolution will begin," he said, referring to caste-based discrimination in rural areas.
