The state commercial tax department collected revenue of ₹22,292.25 crore against the target of ₹26,000 crore in the financial year 2024-25.

In SGST, the state government collected revenue of ₹14,210.10 crore against the target of ₹15,375 crore.

Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore informed this during a press conference on Wednesday. Commerce department secretary Amitabh Kaushal and commercial tax commissioner Amit Kumar were also present with him.

"Government has achieved revenue collection of ₹22,292.25 crore against the target of ₹26,000 crore in financial year 2024-25, which is 85.74 per cent revenue collection of the annual target," Kishore said.
