Former Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) director Dr Raj Kumar has moved the Jharkhand High Court, challenging his abrupt termination by the state government on April 17, which came with three months' salary and allowances, an advocate close to the matter said on Monday.

"The former director, through his petition, demanded to quash his termination order, saying he was not allowed to provide any clarification regarding the allegations levelled against him," the advocate said.
