If your Instagram feed is filled with fizzy pink drinks promising better sleep, you're not alone.
The 'magnesium mocktail' or viral 'sleepy girl' drink is trending again after Healthline (health and wellness publisher) recently shared a medically reviewed take on the fad.
Typically made with tart cherry juice, magnesium powder and sparkling water, this pink drink claims to promote relaxation and sleep by supporting melatonin production and calming the nervous system.
Since wellness drinks are increasingly sold as quick fixes for sleep, immunity and nutrient gaps, we ask experts whether they truly live up to the hype or not?
