Land Bill Sent To Select Committee Amid Uproar In The Assembly

The government on Friday sent the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Amendment and Validation) Bill 2025 to the Select Committee after concerns were raised by MLAs from both BJP and Congress during a debate in the state assembly.
JAIPUR:
Revenue minister Hemant Meena proposed sending the bill to the select Committee after responding to the debate, and the proposal was passed by voice vote. The land revenue amendment bill faced opposition not only from Congress but also from several BJP legislators.
