Govt to Launch One-Time Settlement Scheme: Min

Rajasthan minister Avinash Gehlot on Saturday said that the state government will launch a one-time settlement scheme, with the aim of helping clear loans provided by various state corporations to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), sanitation workers, and persons with disabilities (PWD).

Gehlot said the scheme is aimed at providing financial relief to underprivileged communities and offer new financial opportunities for economic empowerment. The social justice and empowerment department minister said the scheme will help clear dues of loans provided by various state corporations in previous years.
"The one-time settlement scheme is being introduced by the SC/ST corporation for the loans provided by various corporations to provide financial support to SCs, STs, sanitation workers, and PwDs from the state fund," Gehlot said.
