Gehlot Urges CM Sharma To Resolve Problem Of Untreated Polluted Water Flowing To Jojri River

Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday urged CM Bhajan Lal Sharma to take effective steps to resolve the issue of untreated polluted water flowing from textile and steel-rolling factories into the seasonal Jojri River near Jodhpur city to provide relief to affected residents.
JODHPUR:
"The untreated polluted water from textile and steel-rolling factories has not only rendered fields barren in villages like Salawas and Nandwan in Jodhpur district but has also inundated fields of farmers in neighboring villages of Araba and Doli in Balotra district," Gehlot said in a letter posted on X.
