{ NEXT-GEN THERAPEUTIC, DIAGNOSTIC STRATEGIES FOR CANCER
Professor Bushra Ateeq, a scientist at the forefront of next-generation diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for cancer, has won the GD Birla Award for Scientific Research 2025, one of India’s most prestigious honours for scientists.
Ateeq, whose work has helped redefine treatment approaches in colorectal and prostate cancers, is a senior fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
