Writer Suryabala's novel selected for Vyas Samman

Noted Hindi writer Suryabala's novel "Kaun Des Ko Vasi: Venu Ki Diary" has been selected for the 34th Vyas Samman, 2024, the KK Birla Foundation has said in an official statement on Wednesday.
NEW DELHI:
Instituted in 1991, the award is given to an outstanding Hindi literary work by an Indian citizen published during the last 10 years. It carries a cash prize of ₹4 lakh, a citation and a plaque.
"Kaun Des Ko Vasi: Venu Ki Diary" by Suryabala, a well-known Hindi writer, has been selected for the 34th Vyas Samman 2024. This novel was published in 2018. The selection has been made by a committee presided over by eminent litterateur Prof Ramji Tiwari," according to a statement from the foundation.
