Wouldn't be jailed if I'd joined their corrupt system: Kejriwal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that he would not have faced corruption charges and gone to jail if he had become a "part of the system to use power to make money and use money to get power."

NEW DELHI: Kejriwal's remarks came during his first podcast on Prakhar Ke Pravachan, aired on YouTube.

Asked about his reputation since the corruption charges, Kejriwal said, "In Delhi, a BJP leader is openly distributing money, all the TV channels showed it and he also accepted that he is distributing money. Today he has been provided police protection, and now he is distributing money under the protection... so basically you earn money and then use it to buy votes... had I become part of this system, I would not have faced any problem."
