Opposition Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav is set to intensify his election campaign, with plans to address around 17 rallies a day starting Saturday, party leaders familiar with the development said on Friday.

- HT Correspondent

Since October 23, when he was announced as the CM face, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader has addressed over 30 rallies, only taking a break for Chhath Puja on October 27.

“For the last few days, Tejashwi has been on a whirlwind tour across the state addressing at least 10 rallies per day...But, from Saturday, he will be addressing 17 rallies per day by giving five to ten minutes in each rally,” RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan said.
