Punjab Minister Slams Centre for Failing to Address Farmers' Issues

Punjab finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema lashed out at the BJP-led Union government for failing to initiate a dialogue with the protesting farmer unions.
PATIALA:
After meeting farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on an indefinite fast for 32 days, Cheema said, "I will appeal to the Supreme Court to issue directions to the Union government to fulfil all the demands of protesting farmers at the earliest."
Cheema said the AAP government stands with the farmers and their genuine demands.
