Police to look into fire safety lapses that led to Dwarka fire

A day after a massive fire engulfed a penthouse in Shabad Apartments, Dwarka Sector 13, killing three people—including two minors—Delhi Police on Wednesday said they have recorded statements of 10 individuals, including family members and neighbours, as part of their probe into possible negligence.
NEW DELHI:
The victims were identified as Yash Yadav, owner of the ninth and tenth-floor penthouse, his daughter Ashima, and nephew Shivam. The fire broke out around 10am on Tuesday while 10 family members were inside the flat.
