Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) university closed its library and canteens, citing "maintenance work", on Sunday, which is the anniversary of the anti-CAA protests and clashes that took place in 2019 between protesters and Delhi Police inside the campus.
NEW DELHI:
Students' unions in the university claimed that they had planned to observe a remembrance event on Sunday and shutting the library and canteens was the administration's decision to prevent students from participating in the event.
