GOVT TO OFFICIALS: START LOOKING FOR CONSULTANTS FOR ELEVATED RING RD

The Delhi government has initiated formal steps to develop an elevated corridor above the Inner Ring Road and its extensions, with Public Works Department (PWD) minister Parvesh Verma directing officials to appoint a consultant and prepare a detailed project report (DPR).
"We've ordered the department to expedite the consultancy process. Roads in the capital are heavily congested, and land is scarce. We are exploring elevated corridors using canals or similar spaces," said Verma, following a review of PWD projects last week.
