14-YEAR-OLD DIES BY SUICIDE, FAMILY ALLEGES SEXUAL HARASSMENT

A 14-year-old girl in Tinsukia district of Assam allegedly died by suicide, police officers aware of the matter said on Monday, adding that her family members have claimed that she was sexually harassed by a teacher causing her to take the step on Sunday.
The girl also attempted suicide on June 3 but survived and her family filed a complaint at the Dhola police station against one of her school teachers, alleging that he molested her on May 26 on the campus, police said. The accused teacher, police said, ‘was arrested on June Il and sent to
