THE FIRM RAISED ITS EARLIER FORECAST OF 6.5%, ON STRONGER-THAN-EXPECTED CONSUMPTION AND INVESTMENT
India's economy is likely to grow 6.7-6.9% this fiscal year, driven by buoyant domestic demand, steady policy reforms, and a revival in private investment, consultancy firm Deloitte said on Thursday.
The firm raised its FY26 forecast from 6.5% estimated earlier, on stronger-than-expected momentum in consumption and investment. “Deloitte India fore-
casts GDP growth between 6.7% and 6.9%, averaging 6.8% this fiscal year, up by 0.3 percentage points from its previous estimate,"said its statement.
