'Been out of India for 15 yrs...': Lalit Modi denies extradition reports

Fugitive cricket administrator Lalit Modi on Tuesday claimed that reports of an alleged extradition notice against him were "fake news", saying that he has been out of India for last 15 years and during that period he has been travelling to "all countries that India has an extradition treaty with".
NEW DELHI:
His comments came a day after Vanuatu prime minister Jotham Napat ordered cancellation of his passport issued by the Pacific Island country following a request by the Indian government and based on "recent revelations in international media", which indicated that Lalit Modi sought the island nation's citizenship in an attempt to "avoid extradition".
