LDA Tightens Property-Related Rules to Curb Fraudulent Practices

In a decisive step to tackle fraud, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) announced on Saturday that all property possession would now require a computer-generated possession certificate, issued by the registry cell.
LUCKNOW: This new process replaced the previous system, where possession was granted solely based on the sale deed.
Vice chairman, Lucknow Development Authority, Prathamesh Kumar stated that the new procedure aims to prevent fraudulent claims and unauthorised possession of properties.
