KGMU Performs 3 Knee Replacements by Robotic Surgery in a Single Day

LUCKNOW: The department of orthopaedic surgery at the King George's Medical University (KGMU) launched robotic surgery by performing three knee replacements (Robotic total knee arthroplasty) in a single day on Friday. According to officials, all three procedures were conducted under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
The surgeries were performed by department head Prof Ashish Kumar, along with Dr Sanjeev Kumar and Dr Kumar Shantanu. The doctors explained that all three patients had clear indications for knee replacement.
