INDIA’S UREA IMPORTS DOUBLE IN APR-OCT PERIOD

The Union chemicals and fertilisers ministry on Monday said that the country’s urea imports have doubled during the April-October 2025 period to meet higher agricultural demand during the Kharif season.
According to the ministry's Department of Fertilisers (DoF), India imported 58.62 lakh metric tons (LMT) of agricultural-grade urea between April and October
