'INDIA bloc will be wiped out in polls'
Hindustan Times Lucknow

Union home minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that Bihar deputy chief minister Samrat Choudhary would be made “a very big man’ by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the assembly polls, even as he attacked the Opposition Grand Alliance, reminding people of the ‘jungle raj during the Lalu-Rabri regime.
Shah, who addressed back-to-back public rallies in Lakhisarai, Munger, Nalanda and Patna, said the Opposition INDIA bloc will be “wiped out” in polls as people will “take revenge” for Congress workers allegedly insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and Rahul Gandhi “deriding” the PM and ‘Chhathi Maiyya’.
“As Samrat Choudhary said in his speech, he was born here. We convinced the local JD(U) MLA Rajeev Singh to give up his seat in favour of Choudhary. People of Tarapur, and in other places request us to get a ministerial berth for their MLAs. Your MLA isa readymade Deputy CM,” Shah said.
He was addressing a rally in support of Choudhary, a former Bihar BJP chief, who is in the poll fray from Tarapur assembly constituency in Munger.
