Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, the former Duke of York and the younger brother of King Charles, is in line to receive a large one-off payment and an annual stipend, The Guardian reported.
King Charles stripped Andrew, 65, of his title of prince and evicted him from his mansion in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Thursday, responding to the outrage that had built around the royal over years of damaging headlines about his behaviour.
The six-figure payment is meant to cover Andrew's move from his luxurious 30-room mansion, the Royal Lodge in the Windsor Castle estate, to a private residence in Sandringham, Norfolk, The Guardian reported.
This would be followed by an annuity, paid from King Charles's private funds, and would be several times MAndrew’s £20k-a-year navy pension, The Guardian reported.
