Tribal woman waiting in queue for fertiliser dies in MP, probe on

A 52-year-old tribal woman died in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district after her health deteriorated while standing in queue for two consecutive days to purchase fertiliser from a distribution centre, her family claimed on Thursday, even as officials launched a probe to determine why the woman was made to wait even as there was adequate fertiliser in the district.
The deceased, identified as Bhuriya Sehariya, a resident of Kushepur village in the district, began waiting in queue outside the Bageri distribution centre to collect fertiliser from Monday morning, her relative Abloo Sehariya said.
