Man thrown off motorcycle after it hits pothole near Sangam Vihar, dies: Cops

A 38-year-old man died on Monday night allegedly after he fell off his motorcycle that lost balance due to a pothole in south Delhi's Tigri area, police officers said on Tuesday.
NEW DELHI:
The deceased was identified as Rashid Khan, a resident of Sangam Vihar. The incident took place near Jamia Hamdard Hospital on MB Road at around 8 pm when Khan was on his way home.
According to the police, Khan died due to severe head injuries. His family, however, alleged that Khan was killed over a matrimonial dispute. Police said an investigation is underway but they have not found any foul play in the death.
