In Colombia, Tharoor slams outreach to Pak

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading one of the seven all-party delegations as part of India's diplomatic outreach, on Friday expressed his disappointment over Colombia offering condolences for the loss of lives in Pakistan following Indian strikes during Operation Sindoor—India's direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

At a press conference in Colombia's capital Bogota, Tharoor talked about India's stance on terrorism, said BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, who is also part of the delegation. "During the press briefing, Dr @ShashiTharoor reaffirmed India's stance on terrorism and expressed disappointment over Colombia's response which has offered condolences for the loss of lives in Pakistan, rather than sympathising with the victims of terrorism in India," Surya said in a post on X.
