NIA sends BJP leader's complaint against Jharkhand min to CBI

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has forwarded a complaint by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Babulal Marandi against Jharkhand minister Hafizul Ansari to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over a fake Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
NEW DELHI:
NIA sent the complaint to CBI on May 23, after receiving it from Marandi, a former chief minister and current Leader of the Opposition, on May 3.
Marandi's complaint to NIA, which is part of the agency's letter to CBI, stated that it was a "serious and sensitive issue" which not only put a question mark on the image of the state government, but also seems to be linked to national security.
