IT Panel: Refrain From Publishing Fake News

The information technology parliamentary panel chief, Nishikant Dubey, has urged news platforms to refrain from publishing any news that can demoralise the Indian armed forces following the launch of Operation Sindoor, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI: During a meeting with media representatives, Dubey highlighted two examples of "fake news", the people cited above said.
