Director Neeraj Ghaywan's Homebound, which received a standing ovation at the recently concluded 50th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), has been announced as the second runner-up for the festival's prestigious International People’s Choice Award.
South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook’s black comedy thriller No Other Choice won the honour, TIFF announced on Sunday. The first runner-up went to Danish-Norwegian director Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value.
