As Per the Rules, Election Offices Cannot Be Set Up Within 200 Metres of a Designated Poll Booth
NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Kalkaji constituency and chief minister Atishi has filed a complaint against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the same constituency Ramesh Bidhuri of violating the Model Code of Conduct by allegedly setting up an election office within 80 metres of a polling booth in Govindpuri.
As per the Election Commission of India's (ECI) guidelines, election offices cannot be established within 200 metres of a designated polling booth.
