In 2020, actor Naseeruddin Shah had called Anupam Kher a “clown” and a sycophant while criticising his pro-government stance on social media.

Anupam had responded sharply at the time with a video on X. Now, in a recent conversation with Samdish on YouTube, Kher has revealed that Naseeruddin later apologised to him in person.
