'Will follow party line', says Shivakumar on power-sharing agreement with Siddaramaiah

Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday addressed the political buzz around the purported agreement engineered by Congress high command that split power between him and CM Siddaramaiah after the 2023 assembly elections.

However, he stated that both he and the chief minister would adhere to the party line.

Speaking to reporters at his Kodihalli residence in Kanakapura taluk, he said, “It's not wrong for party workers, seers, or the public to express their wishes. But AICC President Mal-

likarjun Kharge has asked us not to speak on the matter. We will follow what the party decides.”
