Konkona to venture into comedy for next directorial

Konkona Sensharma has confirmed that she will be venturing into the territory of comedy, not as an actor but a director.
"I am co-writing and co-directing a comedy show with a college friend, (filmmaker) Jaydeep Sarkar. I'm nervous, but it's about having fun," the 45-year-old shares. The two have earlier collaborated on the 2014 short film Nayanta
