Fresh show-cause notice issued to BJP MLA Yatnal

Karnataka BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has been issued a fresh show-cause notice by the party's Central Disciplinary Committee (CDC) for alleged indiscipline and continued defiance of party directives.

The notice, sent by committee member secretary Om Pathak on February 10, marks the second time in three months that Yatnal has been asked to explain his actions.

The latest notice accuses Yatnal of violating the party's code of discipline despite previous warnings. "The party has taken note of your continuing tirade and breach of party discipline, in clear contravention of the discipline code as enshrined in the Bharatiya Janata Party constitution and rules thereunder. Despite your assurances of good behaviour and conduct in response to earlier show cause notices, you continue to violate and flout your own assurances," the notice states.

The MLA has been given 72 hours to respond.
