DMK MPs Resolve to Raise Delimitation Issue in Parliament

The ongoing tussle over the proposed delimitation exercise and the National Education Policy (NEP) between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre is expected to continue in the second half of the Budget session of Parliament beginning Monday, with the MK Stalin-led party passing three resolutions on Sunday outlining the party's plan to raise the issues in the House.
CHENNAI:
In a meeting of DMK lawmakers, which was chaired by Stalin, the party vowed to continue its fight against the proposed redrawing of the boundaries of the Lok Sabha constituencies, which the party has maintained will disproportionately reduce the representation of the southern states in Parliament.
