Filler fatigue is setting in; celebs are dissolving their dermal fillers faster than you scroll through Instagram and social media is now flooded with people sharing their own removal journeys. It seems the era of overly plump lips and cheeks is over; but what's behind this shift?

WHAT IS IT?

In simple terms, filler fatigue refers to the skin becoming less responsive to dermal fillers over time. "Filler fatigue happens when fillers are overused or placed incorrectly, making the face look swollen or unnatural," explains Dr Geeta Grewal, founder of 9 Muses Wellness Clinic. The result? Too many touch-ups, stretched skin, and a face that no longer looks like your own.
