ACB quizzes BRS leader for 6 hrs in Formula-E race case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday questioned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and legislator KT Rama Rao for over six hours in connection with the alleged financial irregularities in the conduct of a Formula E race during the previous BRS regime in Telangana, officials said.
HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday questioned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and legislator KT Rama Rao for over six hours in connection with the alleged financial irregularities in the conduct of a Formula E race during the previous BRS regime in Telangana, officials said.
Officials familiar with the matter said that the interrogation began at 10.30am and ended around 5pm. They said that KTR - as the BRS leader is popularly called - was questioned by deputy superintendent of police and investigating officer Majid Khan under the supervision of ACB joint director Rithi Raj.
