71-YEAR-OLD MAN MAULED TO DEATH BY PACK OF STRAY DOGS, SAY POLICE

BENGALURU: A 71-year-old man ‘was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs during his morning walk near Kodigehalli, Bengaluru, in the early hours of Monday, police officers familiar with the matter said.

The victim, Seetappa, was reportedly walking alone at around 3.30am when he was surrounded and attacked by a group of eight to nine dogs, police said.

“The incident occurred at around 3.30am in the morning while the man was walking,” Kodigehalli police inspector B Muthuraj said.
