A five-year-old girl, who was raped by a 17-year-old boy at a wedding on February 22, is in critical condition with grievous injuries that required 28 stitches, hospital authorities said on Friday.

Taking note of the case, Union minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia called the girl "my daughter" and promised that the culprit would not be spared.
