RINAGAR: Police on Saturday attached properties of two proclaimed offenders under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in Baramulla district.

Police said the action was taken according to orders passed by a special judge designated under the UAPA, Baramulla, dated April 17. Police said the properties belonged to two proclaimed offenders nominated in cases registered at the Chandoosa police station.

"Land measuring 1 kanal 10 marlas at Lalpora Laridora, belonging to Abdullah Shah Tikhari, a resident of Lalpora Laridora, and the 13 marla land of Takiya Yousuf Shah, belonging to Ghulam Rasool Chopan, a resident of Takiya Yousuf Shah, was attached," a police spokesperson said.

Car seized in Budgam

Police attached a vehicle used in terror activities under the UAPA in Budgam district. Officials said the car was linked to a terror module and was in possession of Mudasir Ahmad Rather, a resident of Kantbagh Kralpora, Budgam.
