All welfare schemes will be gone if AAP does not win

Aam Aadmi Party chief (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday held three public rallies across northwest Delhi, where he again made a pitch for his party's welfare schemes, claiming that "pressing the wrong button" in the upcoming elections would mean the end of subsidised electricity, free bus rides for women, and other benefits provided by his government.

The welfare schemes by the AAP government, such as Mohalla clinics, will stop if people elect the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kejriwal alleged, continuing his party's rhetoric against the BJP. "If you press the lotus button (BJP's symbol), you'll face power cuts and ₹10,000 electricity bills. But pressing the broom button (AAP's symbol) ensures 24-hour free electricity," Kejriwal said at a rally in Wazirpur.

He also alleged that BJP's governance would make Delhi unaffordable for residents.

Kejriwal, speaking at rallies in Adarsh Nagar, Shalimar Bagh and Wazirpur, accused the BJP of planning to demolish slums, shut down Mohalla clinics, and end free health care.
