19 Houses in Sambhal Village Get Demolition Notices, Owners to Pay ₹10.5k Fine

The Sambhal district administration has issued demolition notices to 19 houses in Dinaura village for alleged illegal construction on government land, officials aware of the matter said, adding a penalty of ₹10,500 has also been imposed on each of the house owners.
MEERUT:
Gannaur sub-divisional magistrate Anand Kumar Katiyar said, "Local residents had filed a petition in the Allahabad high court against four houses which were illegally developed in the area. Following the court orders, a survey was conducted by the revenue department team in the village which found a total of 19 houses which were illegally developed on government land."
