» THE Ashburton Chamber Music Festival brings world-class musicians to the heart of rural South Devon for intimate performances in local homes, free open rehearsals and ‘meet the musicians’ events.

There are also five concerts at venues near Ashburton and Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Local composer Gabrielle Mills and South West-based contemporary dancer Lois Taylor join a top international string quartet to celebrate the joy of music and community around Ashburton and Dartmoor.
In its sixth year, the Ashburton Chamber Music Festival's unique format emphases community and accessibility together with a programme featuring music by Bach, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Oliver Knussen and more.
