Public can vote for favourite civil engineering project

VOTING has opened in a public poll to pick the South West's best civil engineering scheme of 2025.

Twelve projects have been shortlisted for the Institute of Civil Engineers’ (ICE) South West Civil Engineering Awards, and the public can vote for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.

They range from major highway upgrades and new railway stations to coastal defences and environmental restoration project. The ICE says each project was selected for its innovation, technical excellence and contribution to local communities.
