Hartlepool's Greatham Foundation awards £93,000 to North East charities

The Greatham Foundation has a long and proud philanthropic history of working with vulnerable individuals across the North East of England.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting community wellbeing, the charity runs an annual Small Grants Programme that provides funding to local, community-based organisations.

The programme aims to empower communities by enabling them to build on their strengths and assets, with a particular focus on supporting core costs and activity funding.

This year, The Greatham Foundation's Grants Committee has allocated £93,000 to 74 voluntary and community sector organisations operating across its geographical area of focus - from Stockton to Northumberland.
