MSK help available at click of a button from NHS Inform

Physio-approved guidance helps manage issues

NHS 24 is promoting its NHS-approved musculoskeletal (MSK) advice available to people in Lanarkshire any time or any place on NHS Inform.

With more than 1.7 million people in Scotland being affected by MSK conditions, the physio-approved guidance is available at the click of a button, meaning patients can manage their muscle, bone, or joint issues effectively from the comfort of their own homes.

A recent survey conducted by NHS 24 revealed that over 82 per cent of users of the MSK pages on NHS inform found the information they needed easily.

The survey, conducted in November 2024, praised the clear layout and helpful nature of the content.

NHS Inform’s MSK resources offer many benefits, including:

- Access to detailed information on various MSK conditions, including symptoms, causes, and treatment options.

- Use symptom checkers to assess symptoms and find the proper route for treatment.
