UAE, Kuwait broaden scope of partnerships

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait signed a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding today. These aim to expand avenues of cooperation between the two countries as part of the official visit by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Kuwait.

Active Partnerships

The agreements, signed at Bayan Palace, aim to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors and to build effective partnerships that serve the mutual interests and development priorities of both countries.

The agreements and memoranda include the following:

• Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the health sector, signed by His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, UAE Minister of Health and Prevention, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahab Al-Awadi, Kuwaiti Minister of Health.

• MoU between Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute, signed by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, UAE Minister of State, and Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs.
