The UAE commercial vehicle market is projected to expand from $2.61 billion in 2025 to $3.95 billion by 2030, with the commercial EV segment experiencing the fastest growth at approximately 35% annually.
This growth is fuelled by ambitious government initiatives, including the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 strategic plan and the National Electric Fleet Vehicles Policy launched in 2023, which targets electric and hybrid vehicles comprising 50% of all UAE road vehicles by 2050. The UAE has also set an interim goal of EVs representing at least IO% of all vehicles by 2030.
